Late Night Update [Oct. 1st, 2006|03:00 am]
I have realised that I have not posted in quite some time. I think I log on and intend to, I start to read my friends blogs and then I completely forget, now that I can't sleep, I have opportunity. I'm doing alright, keeping my nose clean, doing my thing. I've been looking at some culinary colleges lately and I've come across one that's fairly close to home and seems to have a good three year program, however its website is junk and I'll have to make a trip down there to find a out a little more on the student end. I have been thinking about it for some time along with a few others roads to walk and I figure that, I like to cook and it so happens I'm naturally good at it so why not make a career of it and become a chef? Besides it offers two things I enjoy; working with my hands and using my imagination...ok and eating, three things then.

Not too long ago I was driving a friend home late one night cause it was pissing down rain and on my way back home I was "playing" with the gas peddle. Playing in the sense I was letting it go and then flooring it to see how long it took the engine to kick in. I was the only car on the road at that time. Why was I doing this? I don't have a good reason other than I was bored. So, on one of my floored attempts the car hydroplanes across a puddle and I was heading towards the curb out of sheer reaction, not really thinking, I steered away from the curb. But when the tires landed back on the pavement it caused the car to jerk to the direction I had the wheel and I slid out of control across the road doing a 180 across the street. It was sort of funny, I mean I wasn't freaked out or anything as I was spinning out of control. I just controlled the skid until I was facing the opposite direction and then took a look around to see if anyone saw it. No one was around, so I turned it around and drove home as if to say "that's right, you all saw nothing." I can be such a reckless idiot at times.

My parents got another dog. I don't know what it's called yet. I see it as a replacment for my oldest dog who is on his way out, so I don't really approve of it. My eldest cat died not too long ago and I had to build a small casket for it and bury it, which was a bit weird to say the least. So now the barn yard count is at two cats and three dogs...god damn.
